Crasna

Comuna Crasna, cu un teritoriu administrativ de 67,12 km2, este situata in Depresiunea Crasna, in bazinul hidrografic al raului cu acelasi nume. Din punct de vedere al componentei, comuna cuprinde urmatoarele localitati: Crasna - sat resedinta de comuna situat la o distanta de 19 km fata de municipiul Zalau, Huseni, Marin si Ratin.

Desi pe teritoriul comunei descoperirile arheologice au pus in evidenta urme ale locuirii din cele mai vechi timpuri, primele mentiuni despre satele comunei au fost semnalate inca din secolul al XIII-lea, Crasna fiind mentionata documentar din anul 1213. Celelalte localitati au aparut ceva mai tarziu cu denumiri foarte apropiate de cele actuale.

Populatia comunei numara la ultimul recensamant 6373 locuitori. Din punct de vedere etnic, populatia comunei are urmatoarea structura: 28,02% romani, 63,80% maghiari, 8,06% rromi si 0,12% alte nationalitati.

Activitatile ce caracterizeaza economia comunei sunt diversificate. Alaturi de activitatile agricole bine reprezentate la nivelul comunei serviciile si mica industrie au o pondere insemnata in economia comunei.

Din punct de vedere turistic, comuna Crasna se remarca prin concentrarea foarte mare a patrimoniului construit cu valoare culturala. Biserica reformata cu tavan casetat, monument de arhitectura datand din secolul al XIV-lea, manifestarile prilejuite de sarbatorirea Zilelor Crasnei si pivnitele raspandite in viile din jurul satelor fac din comuna Crasna un areal foarte atractiv din punct de vedere turistic.

Crasna

Crasna commune has an administrative territory of 67,12 square kms and it is situated in the Crasna Basin, in the hydrographical basin of the Crasna River. The commune consists of the following villages: Crasna - the central village of the commune situated at 19 kms distance from Zalau city, Huseni, Marin and Ratin.

Although the archeological finds prove that the commune was a built-up area even in the oldest times, the first written mentions of the villages are dated only from the 13th century. Crasna was firstly attested in 1213, the other villages appeared in documents a few years later.

The population of the commune counts, according to the last census, 6373 inhabitants, of which 28,02% are Romanians, 63,80% Hungarians, 8,06% Roms and 0,12% are other nationalities.

The economical activities of the commune are various. Besides the well-developed agricultural sector the services and the small industry have an important role in the economical life of the commune.

The reformed church with sunk paneled ceiling, an architectural monument dated from the 14th century, the Varsolt accumulative lake, the Days of Crasna festival and the cellars in the vine-lands are the most important touristic sights of the commune.

Kraszna

A 67,12 km2-en elterulo kozseg a Krasznai medenceben, a Kraszna folyo volgyeben fekszik, es a kovetkezo falvakbol all: Kraszna (Crasna), a kozsegkozpont, 19 km-re fekszik Zilahtol, Krasznahosszuaszo (Huseni), Maron (Marin) es Raton (Ratin).

Noha a regeszeti leletek azt bizonyitjak, hogy a videk osidok ota lakott, a falvakrol megis csak a XIII. szazadban tortenik eloszor irasos emlites. Kraszna neve mar 1090-ben elofordul, Kraszna megye 1213-ban szerepel eloszor okiratban. Az Arpad-korban varispani szekhely. Krasznan volt birtoka es fuveszkertje a tudos Cserei Farkasnak (1773-1842), kinek Helena lanya id. Wesselényi Miklos felesege volt.

A kozseg nepessege a legutobbi nepszamlalaskor 6373 fo volt, ebbol 28,02% roman, 63,80% magyar, 8,06% roma és 0,12% mas nemzetisegu.

Kraszna gazdasagi elete valtozatosnak mondhato. A mezogazdasag mellett a kisipar is fejlodo tendenciat mutat.

A mai reformatus templom a XIV. szazadban epült. Kulonleges szepsegu a kazettas mennyezete figuralis diszito elemeivel, mely Pataki Asztalos Janos munkaja 1736-bol. A varsolci gyujtoto halaszati lehetosegeivel, az evente megrendezesre kerulo Krasznai Napok es a kornyek borospincei mind szamot tarthatnak erdeklodesunkre.
