The Traditional House from Buciumi - built between
1928-1929, by Simion, the grandfather of the “Buciu-
man Ioan Ştirb”, made of hornbeam and glued with
earth, is a typical Transylvanian house with a cellar in
which the pickled “curechi” was kept - as it is called
Transylvanian cabbage - apples and potatoes, with ves-
tibule, veranda, two rooms and ceiling made of beams.
The house does not lack the icons, the cottage, the old
dowry box, but also the decoration elements, especially
the “blidele” hanging on the walls and the Traditional
House from Răstoci – like a fairy house, with a roof of
straw supported by beamed walls, covered with clay,
about two centuries old, are two other objectives that
complement the cultural and tourist offer of the places.
