Points of interest recommended to be visited in Zalău:
Zalău County Museum of History and Art where we can
discover the patrimony “in a different way” through virtual
and augmented reality solutions, but also admire some
exhibits from the Paleolithic period until the communist
regime; Old Town Center or Transylvania Building - an ex-
pressive and extremely valuable urban and architectural
ensemble; Orthodox churches such as the “Holy Friday”
Cultural Spiritual Complex - a complex architectural en- “Holy Friday” Cultural Spiritual Complex, Zalău
semble of monumental proportions, the “Holy Trinity” Ro-
man Catholic Church built in 1878 the Reformed Church “Holy Friday” Cultural Spiritual Complex, Zalău
- built between 1904-1907 .
